Compacting & Baling Solutions for Cardboard, Shredded Paper, Plastic, PET, Aluminum and Hazardous Waste
By compacting and baling waste on-site, business can reduce trash volume by up to 90 percent, reduce costs by about 50 percent and increase revenue through recycling. Any enterprise that generates trash - from small eatery to a large manufacturer - can benefit from Orwak's products and expertise.
Orwak offers solutions for effective compaction of many different types of waste material including cardboard, shredded paper, soft plastic, PET, aluminum cans and mixed waste.

Cardboard Bales
Cardboard is the most common type of material processed in Orwak’s compaction equipment. Empty cardboard boxes contain a lot of air and are compacted successfully. The volume reduction is up to 10:1 when the cardboard is fed into one of our largest balers.
Compaction ratio: 5:1-10:1 Bale weight: 50-500 kg For really large volumes of cardboard we recommend the automated Brickman briquetting solution. Our briquetting presses can be fed while running and no binding of the briquette is required. Compaction ratio: up to 20:1 Density: Up to 600 kg/m2 |
Shredded Paper Bales
Paper from shredders and paper offcuts from the graphic industry are orderly compacted and tied into neat bales. It makes the material easy to handle and transport and leaves the floors tidy. For an extra tight grip of the bale of small paper fractions, some of our balers have a cross-binding function.
Compaction ratio: 4:1-7:1 Bale weight: 50-70 kg For really large volumes of shredded paper we recommend the automated Brickman briquetting solution. Our briquetting press can be fed while running and no binding of the briquette is required. Compaction ratio: up to 20:1 Density: Up to 1200 kg/m2 |
Soft Plastic Bales
Soft plastic has great potential for compaction as it is a voluminous material that contains lots of air and the result is very satisfying when the bales are tied under pressure and are secured by strong straps or wire. The ORWAK POWER baler family is equipped with a special plastic mode, where the plastic is kept under pressure for 5 minutes for even more successful compaction result.
Compaction ratio: 10:1 Bale weight: 70-500 kg |
PET Bales
PET bottles are a demanding type of material, as the bottles are hard to crush with a lasting result and it is challenging to keep the small fractions together in a bale. We offer heavy duty compaction solutions and cross-binding baling for the most successful result.
Compaction ratio: 4:1 Bale weight: 40-100 kg For really large amounts of PET bottles we recommend the automated Brickman briquetting solution. Our briquetting press can be fed while running and no binding of the briquette is required. Compaction ratio: up to 20:1 Density: Up to 600 kg/m2 |
Aluminum Can Bales
Aluminum cans are a demanding type of material as the cans are hard to crush with a lasting result and it is difficult to keep the small fractions together in a bale. We offer heavy duty compaction solutions and cross-binding baling for the most successful result. Compaction ratio: 3:1-7:1 Bale weight: 40-200 kg For really large amounts of aluminum cans we recommend the automated Brickman briquetting solution. Our briquetting press can be fed while running and no binding of the briquette is required. Compaction ratio: up to 20:1 Density: Up to 600 kg/m2 |
